The Site is the property of Continental Hotels S.A., based in Bucharest, Calea Grivitei no. 143, Sector 1, Trade Registry number J40/1754/1991, VAT number RO 1559737 (“Continental Hotels“).
These Terms and Conditions apply when browsing the Site, interacting in any form with it or using in any way the content and functionalities of the Site, including for making reservations and purchasing tourist services through the Site.
1. CONDITIONS OF USE
All Site users are bound by these Terms of Use.
These Terms and Conditions set forth the use of the Internet Site located at https://continentalhotels.ro and apply to the users acting on their own behalf or on behalf of another person (hereinafter referred to as “User”). By using, viewing, transmitting, retaining, storing and/or using the information and materials on the Site, the services or features offered on or by the Site or the content of the Site in any manner, the User agrees to each of the Terms and Conditions set forth below. The data and the information are presented on the Site for informational purposes only. Continental Hotels reserves the right to modify unilaterally and without any prior notice: the content, form of presentation and/or structure of the Site at any time and will not assume any liability in this regard, the modifications made being deemed to be accepted by the User if he/she continues to use the Site after the posting of the Terms and Conditions displayed on the Site.
The data relating to other companies is used with the express consent of all parties involved and may be changed or modified at any time at their request.
2. PURPOSE AND NON-LIABILITY
The Site and the materials contained therein are provided for informational purposes only. In providing these materials, we do not undertake to provide advice of any kind. The information contained on the Site is based on sources believed to be accurate and reliable, and we have taken reasonable steps to ensure the accuracy of the information presented on the Site.
Continental Hotels does not guarantee in any way the quality of the Site from a technical and functional point of view nor the absence of viruses that may exist on the Site. Continental Hotels shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damage suffered or claimed by the User arising from any malfunctions of the Site.
3. COPYRIGHT
Continental Hotels authorizes all users to explore this Site only if the use is for personal and non-commercial purposes and on the condition that all copyright and other proprietary and industrial property rights symbols and texts contained in the original materials are retained on any copy of the original materials. The Site and its content may not be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, modified, transmitted or distributed without the permission of Continental Hotels, unless the User downloads, presents or prints a copy of the materials presented on this Site using a single computer, solely for non-commercial use.
The entire content of the Site (including all html code, as well as ActivX controls owned by this Site) is the property of Continental Hotels in accordance with the legal provisions on copyright and intellectual and industrial property rights. Unauthorised use in any way of any material on the Site is punishable under applicable law.
Unless otherwise stated, all names, logos, trademarks, service marks and trade names are the property of Continental Hotels and may not be used by anyone for any purpose without our prior written consent. The trademarks used on this Site, property of Continental Hotels, are the following: Continental Hotels, Continental Forum, Grand Hotel Continental, Hello Hotels, Continental Hotel, MyContinental, Mondo Restaurant, Concerto Restaurant, Balkan Bistro, Tekaffe, Victoria Club.
4. Booking
The Site is only available to natural or legal persons who can enter into valid contracts in accordance with applicable law. The Site and the services offered by the Site are not intended for minors. Those Users who do not comply with these conditions may not use the Site and the services offered by the Site.
The User also warrants that he/she is legally authorized to make travel reservations and/or purchases either for himself/herself or for another person for whom he/she is authorized to act. The User may use this Site only to make legit reservations and shall not use this Site for any other purpose, including, but not limited to, making speculative, false or fraudulent reservations. We reserve the right to cancel or modify reservations if a customer is found to have engaged in fraudulent or improper activity or in other circumstances where it appears that the reservations contain or resulted from a mistake or error, or an attempt to circumvent Continental Hotels policies, terms or conditions.
Excessive or abusive use of the booking facilities on this Site may result in users being denied access to these facilities.
Reservations for services, subject to confirmation by Continental Hotels, can be made in the following ways:
- via the online booking platform on the Site, BOOK NOW section;
- by telephone, by calling +40 372 121 721;
- via e-mail: reservation@continentalhotels.ro.
For phone bookings, additional information may be required to confirm the specific requirements such as: phone, email, billing details, etc.
5. PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
Continental Hotels attaches great importance to the personal data of its customers or visitors. For this reason, it has made available to users both specific information notes and a Privacy Policy that deals with the particularities of data processing activities within Continental Hotels. 6. PROMOTIONS
All promotions are subject to availability and inventory of our units, Continental Hotels reserves the right to change, modify or cancel promotions at any time without prior notice.
7. RESPONSIBILITY
The Site may contain technical defects or typographical errors or omissions. Continental Hotels is not responsible for any typographical, photographic, technical or pricing errors (including but not limited to incorrect hotel prices) that appear on our Site. Continental Hotels reserves the right to make changes or improvements to the Site and the products or programs described in such information at any time without prior notice.
The User is responsible for any damage caused to the Site, in accordance with the Romanian laws in force.
8. ACCESS AND INTERFERENCE
The User shall not use any method to copy the Site, the content or information contained therein without our prior written consent. The User agrees not to use any device, program or method that interferes or attempts to interfere with the proper working of the Site or any transaction being conducted through the Site. The User agrees not to copy, reproduce, alter, modify or publicly display any content of the Site without our prior written consent.
The information you provide to us must not contain any viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other computer programming methods intended to damage, interfere with the interception or expropriation of any system, data or information and will not create obligations on our part or cause loss (in whole or in part) to the services of our ISPs or other providers.
9. APPLICABLE LAW
These Terms and Conditions are drafted in accordance with the laws applicable in Romania. The User agrees that any legal action arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be settled by the courts in Romania.

Continental Hotels publishes on the Site its complete and correct identification data, so that contacting it by the User is easy.
Access to the Site, use of the information presented therein, visiting the pages or sending e-mails or notifications to the User may be made by electronic means of communication, telephone or any other means of communication available to the parties, and the User is thus deemed to consent, in turn, to receive notifications from Continental Hotels electronically and/or by telephone, including communications by e-mail.
Continental Hotels reserves the right not to respond to all requests of any nature, especially if they are unfounded/abusive/injurious, received by any means of communication (electronic, telephone, etc.).

The User expressly declares that the contact data provided by sending it to the e-mail address reservation@continentalhotels.ro or for making a reservation belongs to him/her (for example: name and surname, e-mail address, telephone number, etc.) and that such data may be used by Continental Hotels in its communications with the User, for the purpose of solving any requests, but also for providing additional information, at the User’s request.

11. FINAL PROVISIONS
Continental Hotels cannot be held liable for any errors that may occur on the Site due to any cause whatsoever, including due to changes, settings, etc. that are not made by the Site administrator.
Although the Site does its best to protect your personal information, it cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us, so the transmission of information in an inappropriate environment is at your own risk. The User is solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the information (passwords, usernames, etc.) related to the accounts he/she has acquired as a result of using the services offered by us.
